Last updated: February 2026

Stop Deepfake Candidates is a trade name (DBA) of Payload Ops Inc., a Delaware corporation. All references to "we," "us," or "our" in these Terms of Service refer to Payload Ops Inc., operating under the Stop Deepfake Candidates brand.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Stop Deepfake Candidates ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Stop Deepfake Candidates provides identity verification tools for hiring teams. The Service allows you to send verification links to candidates, who are asked to confirm their identity using a government-issued ID and a selfie before joining a video interview.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of your organization to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Accounts and Billing

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. The Service operates on a pay-as-you-go basis. You add credit to your account balance, and $5 is deducted for each completed verification. You are not charged for links that expire before a verification is completed.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful hiring and recruiting purposes. You may not use the Service to discriminate against candidates on the basis of any protected characteristic, to harass or deceive candidates, or for any purpose that violates applicable law.

6. Candidate Data

Identity documents and biometric data collected during verification are handled by our identity verification provider and are subject to their data retention policies. We store only the verification outcome — pass or fail — and do not retain underlying documents or images.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that all fraudulent candidates will be identified, and verification outcomes should be used as one signal among many in your hiring process. We are not liable for hiring decisions made based on verification results.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Payload Ops Inc. (operating as Stop Deepfake Candidates) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice in the dashboard. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
